Born October 1984, Fahad Bombaywala is a film writer and a seasoned creative consultant based in Pakistan. With a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Bombaywala started his advertising career in 2008 with Adcom. In 2010 he completed his Master’s degree in Philosophy. Fahad is currently working with M&C Saatchi as Group Creative Director and managing two of their locations situated in Lahore and Islamabad. With fourteen years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, he has managed a wide range of clientele from the development sector as well as numerous consumer brands.
In the Development Sector, he’s currently engaged with organizations such as META, FCDO, UN Women, WFP – UNESCO, UNICEF, GIZ, GHS – EHSAAS, and the Ministry of Health – Government of Pakistan. He spearheaded the nationwide campaign on COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptability in Pakistan which was commissioned to M&C Saatchi by the UKAID for the Government of Pakistan. The campaign resulted in a remarkable increase in SMS/online signups for the inoculation.
Fahad’s commercial portfolio ranges from telecom, food, confectionery, beverages, dairy, personal care, financial industry, tobacco to pharmaceuticals, and technology. He was responsible for the successful award-winning launch/repositioning of numerous brands such as Bank Alfalah, HBL, Telenor Microfinance Bank, PTCL, U-fone, U-Bank, Shan Foods, Lotte Confectionaries, Cadbury Dairy Milk, and Unilever – Lifebuoy Shampoo.
Before M&C Saatchi, he worked with Grey Pakistan, Sandpaper, Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Catwalk Productions, and Circuit | DraftFCB.
